Careers Education

Our aspirations week has been a great success in giving children an insight into a variety of career paths. 

We have had superb presentations from lots of people working in the fields of construction, toy making, Forest school and running a business and  working in the funeral service. We also found out a lot about being a dental nurse, CBT therapist, special effects make up artist, dance and drama teacher and what it's like to work at Tamworth castle. 

Year 6 were also very privileged to have a special visit from Baasit Siddique, star of Gogglebox! He worked with the children giving them ideas for developing their own TV programme. 

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed these visits and it's certainly given them some ideas for their future career paths.
