Geography
At St George's our Geography curriculum, similar to our History, celebrates the unique local area of Swadlincote. Located at the heart of the National Forest, Swadlincote has seen a drastic regeneration from it's mining roots. Our curriculum focusses on why and the land has changed over the last 100 years.
As well as focussing on our local Geography, our curriculum is designed to encourage students to recognise how amazing the world is. We hope to encourage a love of learning about the world. To give them skills to study how the world works both physically and socially.
