Art and Design programmes of study: Key Stages 1 and 2

At St George's every child is seen as an artist. Each child has the chance to explore different techniques, artists and styles so that they can better their artistic skills.  

We have been lucky enough to have visits from artist Tan Draig who completed workshops with every class and created some fantastic sculptures.

Every year students will develop their drawing, painting and sculpture skills at an age appropriate level honing their skill over time in gradual steps. 

The use of sketchbooks in classes lets children to be free to explore topics in their own way - following their creativity. This means learners take pride and ownership of their work and makes every artist at St George's unique.
